The Shoebox Christmas program is a truly heartwarming effort dedicated to sharing the spirit of the holidays by providing Christmas gifts to children in need across reservation communities and beyond!
This year, the program made a significant impact across three states:
In South Dakota, gifts brought smiles to children on the Rosebud Reservation and at the Enemy Swim School near Sisseton.
In North Dakota, the joy spread across the Spirit Lake Nation, Turtle Mountain, and Standing Rock reservations, along with several local schools.
In Minnesota, children on the Red Lake Reservation were among the lucky recipients.
In addition to these reservations and schools, the program also generously provided gifts to several organizations that support families and children across all three states, making a difference in so many lives!
It's a beautiful way to ensure more children feel loved and celebrated during the Christmas season.
