We quickly discover that carrying the light doesn’t get rid of fear. But, as the psalmist demonstrates this week, the light does show us how to not let fear control us and keep us from living in the glory of God’s salvation.

Week 5- Date: 2/1/26
Sermon Title: “What Is Good?”
Text: Micah 6:1-8 (NLT)
Focus: At the center of worship today is…worship. Micah 6:1-8 is about worship, and the fruit of our worship is found in how we relate to God, self, neighbor, and creation, not just the actions we take inside the walls of our local church. How are we connecting the actions we take in worship to our lives in the world?

Sermon Title: “Call to Action”
Text: Isaiah 58:1-12 (NLT)
Focus: These are the words that Jesus knew, the words Jesus lived by, that called him into the ministry he passed on to us. We need these words to give us hope, even as they bring a challenge and a burden. We need these words to stir our hearts to action. There are breaches that need repairing. There are divides that need healing. There are ruins that need to be rebuilt.

Summary: Epiphany proclaims the joyful truth that God’s light has been revealed to all the world. That revelation does not end with recognition. It calls us into deeper communion with God. As we celebrate Epiphany and the season that follows, we ask how the light of Christ continues to work in us and through us. This series invites us to linger in God’s presence, to grow in faith, and to live as people shaped by the glory that has been made known.
