Description:
FUMC Wellness Room is now open. We are located on the 2nd floor in the former Resource Room. Available for use is a treadmill, 2 types of stationary bikes, cardio-glide, elliptical, Hand weights, dyna-bands, floor mats, scale, electronic blood pressure cuff, TV/VCR, Radio/CD player and (most importantly) Some instructional materials to help you carve out your own exercise program or just go for a walk. Stop by. Bring a friend. Pilate's, Tai Chi, Dancing to the Oldies and other Videos also available. How can you get started? You fill out a health questionaire that is reviewed by the Parish Nurse and sign a release of liability form. *Some individuals may require a doctor's OK to exercise depending on health history. A room key can be checked out in the office between 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Week days and Wednesday evenings between 5 - 8, the room will be available upon request as demand allows.
