Sondra Kimball, Congregational Care Sondra has been on staff at FUMC for over ten years, five of which have been in Congregational Care Ministries. Prior to that she taught high school Spanish. Sondra's Congregational Care Ministry goals are… " To help carry out the mission of the Faith, Health and Caring Ministries of First United Methodist Church by empowering the congregation to be healthy in body, mind and spirit as we carry out the mission of making Jesus known. " To administrate and coordinate Congregational Care ministries. " To visit hospital patients, nursing home and home bound residents. " To set a tone of caring/compassion to those who are seeking help. " To uphold the integrity of the church and demonstrate by actions and words that I am about doing God's work. " To be sensitive to the spiritual and physical needs of those people who share their stories by my presence and prayer. |
