Mary Jane Richardson Minister of Children's Christian Ed. I grew up in this church and have very many fond memories of the Sunday School program during my childhood. I am proud to say I am a 3rd generation member of this church. After high school I was graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Dietetics and spent years doing a variety of things in the nutrition field. Many of my experiences involved teaching, which has always been one of my passions. I was married to Dave in 1974 and am the very proud parent of two boys: Patrick and Matthew. In November 1995 Dave died suddenly and our lives changed dramatically. I received a lot of support from my church family as well as my family and friends. In the years before Dave and I had children, I spent many hours as the volunteer elementary coordinator at this church. I never realized at the time, that this would be preparing me to become a member of the church staff some day working with our ChildrenŐs Ministries Program. I feel so blessed to be a part of this important ministry of the church and am thoroughly enjoying working with our children, their families and the many volunteers who help to make this program such a success. |
