Kathy Blomker, Office Manager Kathy was born in Ida Grove, Iowa and was raised in Humboldt, Iowa. After graduating from Humboldt High School in 1978 she attended Patricia Stevens School of Fashion Merchandising and Business in Omaha, NE. Kathy previously worked in the college bookstore industry for 15 years. She has served as office manager at FUMC since June of 2002. Kathy's husband of 30 years, is also a native of Humboldt, Iowa - high school sweethearts! They have a daughter, Kaitlyn, who attends Lincoln High School and they are legal guardians of 3 yr. old Piper. "God truly blessed us with 2 wonderful girls ". The Blomker's are true animal lovers sharing their home with canine and feline friends. Their dog Lexus is a Certified Search and Rescue Dog with the Minnehaha County K9 Search and Rescue Team. "It has been a joy working here with the FUMC staff and members of the congregation. I have developed some wonderful friendships. I am thankful to God for the opportunity to serve this church". |
