Mark & Lisa Johnsen, Directors of Youth Ministries Mark Johnsen grew up on a farm near Doland, SD. He graduated from SDSU and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at North American Baptist Seminary. Mark loves to play basketball, to water ski and missions. Mark has organized two mission trips to the Gulf Coast for hurricane relief. Lisa Johnsen is a native of Sioux Falls and attended Sioux Falls College (USF). Lisa loves listening to Contemporary Christian music, reading scripture, and painting. They were married, here, in this church, 17 years ago and have 2 children. Alex is 15 and attends RHS. Austin is a 7th grader at Memorial Middle School. The whole family loves to camp! Both Lisa and Mark have been active youth leaders and members of SunnyCrest UMC. They look forward to sharing their passion for Christ with First UMC Youth, their family and friends. Their focus is developing disciples through youth groups, bible studies, missions, and fun events. |
