Pastor Mark & Lisa Johnsen Ministers of Youth & Young Adults Mark Johnsen grew up on a farm near Doland, SD. He graduated from SDSU and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at North American Baptist Seminary. Mark loves to play basketball, to water ski and missions. Mark has organized two mission trips to the Gulf Coast for hurricane relief. Lisa Johnsen is a native of Sioux Falls and attended Sioux Falls College (USF). Lisa loves listening to Contemporary Christian music, reading scripture and painting. They were married, here, in this church 17 years ago and have 2 children. Alex is 17, Austin is 14, and they both attend Roosevelt High School. The whole family loves to camp! Lisa and Mark are now in their third year as youth directors. They look forward to continue sharing their passion for Christ with First UMC Youth, their family and friends. Their focus is developing disciples through youth groups, bible studies, missions and fun events. |
